Bure was an insanely talented scorer. One of the most purely talented guys ever. He just couldn’t stay healthy over the long haul. His last NHL season was when he was 31. Jagr is still playing at 43. Imagine if Bure could have played into his late 30s like most guys?

BR/DVD players that do a proper upscaling of standard def DVDs definitely do make a visible difference. The quality will still not be equivalent to HD, but they will look noticeably better than using an old school DVD-only player that does not have an upscaling feature.

Ugh. I don’t care about the Nationals but that’s weak. Tabata lowered his arm directly into the pitch. Given the circumstances that’s pretty bush league, though it’s more on the ump than anything.
