Watching Grosjean drive like mad on the last ~15 laps was absolutely the best part of that race and fantastic to watch. Still can’t believe that move on Johnson didn’t take them both out.

The vehicle rides like a dream, it’s quiet, it has tons of useful storage, the engine is great for what I need, it gets decent fuel mileage for what it is, it’s built well.

Jason, I can see how you find this confusing, but you need to understand exactly how the unique Tesla system works. I’ll break it down for you.

I agree with the rest of your statement but 90 minutes of cardio isn’t exactly an elite effort. I’ll ride my bike for well beyond that, its fun.

Props to the “shame” guy. He kept that up WAY longer than I could have without dissolving into laughter at that last trucker-mouthed Karen.

Kissing inevitably leads to this conversation:

Don’t know about the rest of the country, but in the Midwest, it’s definitely Michigan, and just about everyone here knows it too.

I move my shampoo/conditioner/body wash to IKEA soap dispensers for easy metering:

I’m actually not even confident Erik is capable of reading press releases. Just expressing his feelings after glossing over the pictures

This is, in short, modern Cadillac, playing catch up to a rival that is years ahead of it

100% this. I would seriously consider relocating, even to Detroit, for a job that lets me work from home 3 days a week. I would change jobs in a heartbeat for a fully remote job that lets me live anywhere. Work from home is going to be huge in terms of talent attraction. We’ve spent a year proving it can be done,

Simply put, GM is for once ahead of the other major automakers- even the likes of Toyota and Nissan- when it comes to their EV program. Their strategy took awhile to get going but they are making a lot of smart, long-term decisions. That they chose to come up with a universal chassis design that can be used for dozens

partly. That’s the idea of buying into the future. People will see you as a forward thinker...or so the logic goes.

I think the main problem is that when you buy a Tesla, you are “buying into the future!” When you buy a Chevy, you are buying a Chevy.

By the end of this decade your statement is going to be laughable. Listen to anyone who has their thumb on the industry and they’ll tell you that there’s an EV Tsunami coming and it will make ICE cars appear ridiculously outdated in a short amount of time. Think like its 1908 and someone just pulled up next to your

but by God, they’ll paint themselves and wear & do stupid shit to show support for the local team.

Correct. And good point. But, OTOH... This 20% or so people will in turn help counter the 20% or so Americans who will refuse to get the vaccine.

Give GM a little credit here. We’re talking about a huge company that not too long ago made some utter pieces of shit on wheels and had a serious badge engineering problem. What they are doing here is not only a complete re-brand but a complete product and service portfolio replacement. That is amazingly difficult for

Know I’m farther south from you, but it’s a similar story in the Louisville area where I live. The past few years, our winters have been upper 30s/low 40s, cloudy and rainy. Little or no snow. Talking to folks older than myself, it’s pretty clear that winters were far different here 50 years ago than they are now.

More than just Lake St. Clair, the reported run actually took place on the portion of Lake St. Clair known as Anchor Bay just off the coast of a town called New Baltimore. My fifth great grandfather was the first European settler of the area and his name on the town’s historical marker.
