To be clear, I’m not trying to defend Elon. He’s a piece of shit and what he’s suggesting here pushes America closer to it’s own version of the French Revolution (which is exactly why Elon knows he would need a ton of security).

It can’t be fixed quickly because the truth is that there is NO motivation to fix it, just like there is NO motivation to “fix” America’s immigration “problem” (fix/problem in quotes because IMO, it isn’t really a problem).

Regardless, we take viruses seriously. So I don’t writing him off as in idiot is appropriate. He’s a dangerous person to whom a LOT of power has been given, and he’s working ever day to increase said power.

To assume he isn’t intelligent is a massive mistake.    Everything he does is calculated to keep his wealth growing.  He doesn’t care about Trump, he doesn’t care about Trump supporters.  He cares about accumulating more wealth and more power and he’s intelligent enough to endorse the candidate that he knows he can…

I really don’t know how you stop this at this point. No amount of messaging, laws or penalties stops people driving while glued to their phones.

Unless I have a connector, this is me now as well.  I pack a full carry on, then gate check it.  Most times, you don’t even have to go to baggage claim as gate checked bags will be brought right to the jetway.  Not having to worry about overhead space means I can be one of the last people on the plane, no problem.

“Gate lice” exist because airlines created baggage fees outside of the normal ticket price. People are trying to get in early so they have a place to store all their shit because they don’t want to pay extra fees for an already terrible experience.

She will need to figure out a way to get the Supreme Court expanded before anything like that can happen.

Trump stacks Supreme Court. Supreme Court gives president essentially unlimited power. Trump gets elected. Trump gives egomaniacal billionaire unlimited power.

Agree. I know some folks have posted here that they can separate Tesla from the CEO and are comfortable buying their cars, but I don’t see how people do it.

I’ve said it in other posts, but I’ll say it here again.  Trump gives auto workers the ability to express their racism out loud.  That’s the only issue they care about.

He likely knows how tariffs work. What he’s counting on is American’s NOT knowing how tariffs work.
