However, their presence was enough to lead Vance to call himself an “ally” of the auto industry while on stage, adding that, should Trump win in November, the administration will throw its support behind the American auto industry.

Looks are subjective. The Equinox EV looks great, has plenty of technology, and comes in well below $66k. Same for the Blazer EV. Hell you can even get Lyriqs below $66k.
Correct. In the case of the Ren Cen, all of the critical utilities as well as elevators and emergency stairwells run up the center of each tower. So not only would they have to figure out how to create apartments out of circular floors, but they’d also have to move utilities and emergency stair wells. It’s not…
The internal structure of the Ren Cen is such that it would be obscenely expensive to try to convert any of the towers to residential. It would be more cost effective to simply demolish the building and rebuild, which is what should be done.
This is why I always think it’s weird when people on Jalop say letting Chinese cars free into the US car market would force US/Foreign OEM’s to figure out a way to make cheaper EV’s.
And the Blazer EV and the Lyriq EV which are selling well and qualify for the rebates.
We’ll never be able to calculate it, but I’d love to know how that $2b compares to the amount the CCP has dumped into it’s EV industry to help them dominate globally.
What would Elon have to do in order for you to sell your car? I’m always curious about this question.
I gotta ask. Why, knowing everything you know about how big of a piece of shit Elon Musk is, do you still go buy a Model 3? Especially when there are so many other options?
Amazing to me that one hateful idiot online can spark immediate changes in the behavior of fortune 500 companies, but as a collective society, we can’t come together and realize that increasing corporate profits are robbing the middle class.
This already happened long ago. There is little desirable and affordable lake property in Michigan. There are places on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan that would make you think you’re in Malibu.
Not really. The US has moved around the same number of vehicle sales for decades. The problem, from what I can tell, is that there are just more models to choose from. The are more brands, and the existing brands from 20 years ago have more choices.
Drive up to Dallas. We just picked up the Equinox EV at Classic.
“I was the most labor friendly president in American history” and also “I hate unions”
I wanted so badly for her to interrupt and ask him to define Marxist. I know that takes the risk of him actually knowing what Marxist means, but what are the odds he actually does? There’s no way right?
Market research tells OEM’s that the MINIMUM requirement for milage on an EV for American consumer consideration is 300 miles.
We aren’t where? The goal posts for EV’s constantly move, so we’re never going to get to wherever this magical “there” is. If you don’t like EV’s, just say you don’t like EV’s.
It’s quiet (WAY quieter than an ICE vehicle I’ve driven outside of high end lux models), comfortable and has good range (300'ish real world). We don’t miss CarPlay; it takes a little adjusting, but it’s not nearly the world collapsing change everyone pretends it is. The Chevy UI is easy and intuitive. Build quality is…
Chevy has the Equinox EV and the upcoming Bolt refresh.
Why do you say that? I’ve sat in both. When I sit first class, it’s not as though my mentality shifts to “I’m better than everyone on this plane”.
