I typed a similar comment and then deleted it. HD is in the business of making money, that’s it. They’re no different than any other major brand. HD doesn’t care about DEI any more than Bud Light did. They care about money. That’s it. Money.

There are plenty of people who have abused Trump for personal gain. Elon just happens to be the most powerful person to date to get in that line.
You have to be a broken person to spend more than $50k on a Model 3.
The empty space in the m and the underline create the shape of a plug. It symbolizes the EV transition.
and brings GM’s Google-based infotainment system as standard, which means it loses its standard wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
I wouldn’t call it “favorite” politician, I would call it “easiest to manipulate” politician. If we know anything about Trump, we know he can be bought for the low low cost of just $1/day
Sure, but to suggest we should beg? The title and article is written as though the Tasman is going to be so infinitely superior to anything else available that we should beg? C’mon. It’s just another mid size truck.
The video shows a masked Tasman doing things literally every other mid sized truck in the US can already do, but for some reason we should be begging for it to come here? K...
Aside from what other commenters have already mentioned regarding residuals, if Elon keeps this act up, there is a not zero chance he could sink Tesla entirely.
That too. But I think they love the language he uses to appear strong.
The thing I find funny is that his supporters view him as such a “strong man”, and yet he is SO easy to manipulate and influence with a few dollars. How they don’t see through his “strong man” charade is so far beyond me.
Ok lets break this wall of text down a little bit.
I feel like I must be missing something. Why are people driving cars fidgeting with things so much? I get in my car, set a temp and turn on Car Play.
We can see now that even Tesla isn’t immune to narrative. The company is run by a guy who would love nothing more than to each a cheeseburger off Trump’s bare chest, and yet even HE can’t get these rubes to believe in EV’s. Why he hasn’t started labeling Tesla’s as the “anti woke” car is beyond me.
rabble rabble mining rabble rabble child labor rabble rabble coal!!
Regardless of which side of the “political aisle” you sit on, it is wild to me that there is a large group of people who are simply unwilling to accept anything that could improve the environment.
My 85 year old grandma can figure out how to drive a car and use a touch screen, but some how supposed “auto enthusiasts” can’t.
The inspection is a total joke, but some of the stuff you see on the roads here wouldn’t come close to passing even that very very very low bar.
I live in state that has safety inspections and I can tell you that safety inspections absolutely do NOT remove those rolling coffins from the road. The abysmal state of some of the cars in the DFW area rival what I used to see in Detroit, and I thought it couldn’t get worse than Detroit.
I think my favorite thing is Tesla’s becoming the “cheap used vehicle that is easy to get”. Quite a fall from their initial prestige. It’s really perfect timing with the Altima going away.
