As others have said, styling is extremely subjective.  The i3 has a weird chunky snub nose with a moustache on top, wheels that are comically skinny, and it doesn’t have 4 real doors.  The BMW is far more “appliance” looking than the Bolt, and that’s saying a lot.

It’ll mean fewer cars on the road, and that ideally, as I’ve said before, driving becomes a hobby, like sailing, skiing or riding a horse. Driving should be for people who love it. We almost certainly won’t get that lucky, but it’s fun to have goals.

This doesn’t even account for the insane amount of rain that fell overnight the night before. Some places got at much as 7 inches of rain in less than an hour. The McNamara Terminal at DTW was closed because the tunnel road to get to the terminal was under water.

How is this not here yet?

Isn’t this just a smooshed and stretched out Urus, which will be a ten year old design when this thing is supposed to go into production?

Chevy already did this with the Camaro, and the Europeans didn’t care one bit. Not sure why they would care about a $300k Mustang trying to do the exact same thing, especially when a ZR1 Corvette is likely coming that will undercut this on price and out perform it.

I’m sort of in the same boat, but we’re between houses right now and temporarily living in a hotel. The hotel has 4 Blink chargers which are usually empty. The problem is, the power cost at the Blink charges as like 3.5 times the actual power rate in the area. It was $18.50 to add 150 miles of range the other day. At

There’s one thing missing from this conversation. Queso.

I think the view part is the right answer. No one really needs a view from their garage, but having the kitchen privately in the back with a view of the backyard is more ideal.  Gives you the option of a door/door wall that can go out to the backyard for a patio, etc.

It’s list from CR.  There will never be anything that the American OEM’s can do to get on CR’s lists.

Same thing happened in Metro Detroit, and most of them are now closed. Full disclosure, I think Qdoba is better than Chipotle from a food taste perspective, but the Qdobas that closed in Detroit closed for two reasons:

Synthetic materials are 100% about customer perception and 0% about animal welfare or environmentalism.  Hell the production of most synthetic seating material is worse for the environment than animal hide.  But it’s easier for OEM’s to avoid publicity problems if they switch to synthetics.

Look, no one is saying Macomb was cursed by the anger of thousands of angry motorists as they ratcheted on their spares in the middle of winter or stood in bumper-to-bumper gridlock due to closed roads during the height of summer, but it does seem a reasonable explanation at this point.

Man, you’re on a mission to sell the Niro to Jalop, aren’t ya?

Please release us from this fresh Hell. I cannot take it.

If I’ve learned anything about money discussions on the internet, it’s that any choice you make in how to spend your money will ALWAYS be the wrong choice.

Like I said in my initial post, price is a pretty compelling argument for a lot of people. The Model 3 and Model Y in particular offer better range and performance than most (if not all) competitors at similar or better prices.

all these comments and no one is lamenting this tragedy???... a sign that this is no longer an horse enthusiast site but rather just bland horse news outlet. :(

By that logic, Twitter should have zero users, but they have 65 million.  I’d be willing to be a good portion of those still herald Musk as a saint.

It’s realistic to think that... my only pause is when I think about how American’s as a whole generally don’t follow the news and/or only care about a piece of news for about 5 seconds before something else distracts us.
