I think he did it just to make her more paranoid and further susceptible to manipulation. I don't know what exactly he wants from her, but it's nothing good, that's certain.

You seriously need to find actual quotes, because I remember Fuller being dissatisfied with the trial episode, but nothing about the rest of the first half. Especially if it consisted of such gems like Sakizuke, Takiawase, Mukozuke, Futamono and Yakimono - all of them excellent. Hassun failed only because suddenly…
I found the characters captivating from the start, but to each their own. There are some VERY lively characters, maybe try forgetting about the flowery language and look at their actual personality? I found Will and especially Hannibal the opposite of detached and cold. Hannibal in particular is positively a comedian…
It depends; what were the specific things you didn't enjoy about the first half of S2? If you miss Will/Hannibal interaction then yes, there is more of that coming. Are you bored with the prison setting? It's not permanent. Or is there something else?
That's all nice and well, but where is the Korean promo?? These were legendary.
Best advice as for your approach: make peace with the fact that initially the characters think that they're in the procedural CSI: Baltimore. What they don't realize is that they're in the surreal horror titled Hannibal.
After you accept that, everything will be smoother and more fun. Good luck.
In Canada! (and Italy)
I'm quite the opposite: adored the Colombian version and subsequently couldn't stand the American one. This is apparently unpopular opinion? But Jane the Virgin is just so much better than Ugly Betty…
And (most likely) Hannibal
Very accurate.
I love Hannibal's placement in the picture - with the police! On the wrong (right?) side of interrogation glass! Great choice :)
"I felt like I could have watched the first few episodes and the last few episodes and not missed a thing as H and the gang filled time for the obligatory 20+ episodes of a full NBC season."
No, you can't skip first season, you wouldn't get any context at all. And besides, S1 is fantastic television too, just structured a little differently
He's immune from being the worst because he's actually the best. Simple as that.
Yes, but that is being framed as Luisa's biggest mistake - not telling Jane right away. Rosa's advice is proving to be disastrous so far.
Volver comparison is spot on! Thank you so much for writing it and for giving me ammunition to repel future haters. If someone says it's ridiculous soap opera, I'll just say "No, it's like Almodovar!" - and it will be true:)
It's not bad at all, even ironically. It is possible to make a good show out of ridiculous premise, you know?
