I can’t fathom how at some point, nobody in admin was like, “maybe it isn’t a good idea to suspend a whistleblower.” But then again, this is Michigan.

That literally doesn’t even compare.

Except students down own schools. That’s a false equivalency. Also, the school actually knew about the pipes and hadn’t done anything about . It’s more like “Hey, look at this asshole who is ignoring the fact that his house is on fire.”

I definitely always speak to the manager if the employee can’t solve the problem. That is the best way to solve issues with a company that I have paid for services.

It is not the hotel guests responsibility to notify the hotel of facility problems.

“Why is it the homeowner’s responsibility to report a house fire to the fire department?”

“Clueless” would be a fair and objective assessment of these people, assuming their intent was for the lobster to continue living. That they spent “good money” is irrelevant.
