This is why I like Kotaku. It’s more than just re-hashed press releases.

I figured they were frustrated and that’s how they wanted to express themselves.

Funny thing about esports teams and location, how do people decided what team they are a fan of for other games? I learned EnvyUs is based in North Carolina so I thought that was as good a decision as any.

Dead game gets thrown around a lot. You want to see dead? Try to play Perfect Dark Zero. Too old? Fair enough. Try Call of Duty: Ghosts.

I read that somewhere too. It’s easier to tell characters apart since usually their faces aren’t vastly different from each other.

Makes sense. Too easy to get ahead in online, even if there weren’t microtransactions.

I am not as enraged, but I agree. I play most games based on visual appearance and I like character customization.

I honestly don’t ink there are any ideas left. I guess the West could adapt anime into live action, but that’s not video game related.

Actually, watching the best can also be a reason. Lots of pros stream and competitions are broadcast all the time.

I disagree, but at least this post isn’t filled with vitriol and “master race” stuff.

I don’t see anything wrong with a convention for people who like to broadcast. unless you don’t like conventions in general. I guess that’s a different matter.

There are some guys who are really popular for their antics as they play a game (not necessarily their skill at it) and a few just left the computer desk and started carrying a cell phone around. Mitch Jones and Ice_Poseidon are the ones I see get the most viewers.

There are panels, game developers and computer hardware manufacturer looking for people to sponsor/sell things to. Seems like standard fare for any convention as far as I know.

there are modes vs AI in Ultimate Team. Sometimes I like to build and collect and stuff.

In order for it to be long one of those “somethings” has to be money. You’re never going to get actual money from most loot boxes, so not gambling.

Personally that’s what I want, drop chances posted. I’m not as outraged as most other people since most of the time I can’t even buy the game when it costs $60, so I have no problem avoiding microtransactions and playing a game to death.

This; mojang comes to mind.

Yeah I remember reading that, too. The PS3 was one of the best Blu-Ray players according to electronics magazines and the like.

It was such a wonderful feeling that one time I got a message after a match (in another game) where I was accused of cheating.

I’ve always been the type to admire hands in first person video games. Seems like a game that focuses on hands should have better hands, however.
