When I was a kid, I was absolutely terrified of going on the Down Escalator, as I was always fearful that I’d trip or miss a step and fall down and kill myself.

Baseball not only has a draft, but it’s 40 (formerly 50) rounds long. And until recently, teams couldn’t use draft picks as trade collateral like you can in the NFL and NBA. You can now, but it’s extremely limited.
That’s not a runaway. That’s one city. And if she did run away with it, she would be in the White House now.
God, that 3rd down pass was such a stupid play call. Toss it to one of the WR over by the sideline and get the first down. You only need a field goal to win and you had excellent field position. Just get a couple first downs and then kill time until there’s 3 seconds left, then kick the field goal and win. No need to…

It was freaky seeing some of those throws Mahomes threw. Like, some of those crazy tosses are stuff we don’t see from Rodgers or even Vick in his prime.
- This was probably not helped by the camera angle right before the snap showing the on-field play clock and Mahomes on the same screen.
The mere fact that they’re sexualizing RBG is enough to stay far, far away from the game to begin with.
Jim Sterling has tackled this topic many, many, MANY times. Here’s one of his latest diatribes about it.
