Yeah of course, all the big awards shows are rigged to one extent or another and we should ignore them. The last time I was interested in the Grammys was when Outkast performed:

Look, no one wants Mommy Liz and Daddy Bern to fight.
As far as I can tell, he “only” speaks English and Arabic. He grew up in suburban Toronto.
In skeezy long-time Hollywood agent voice: “He should try to get on The Mandalorian and get some screentime with Baby Yoda. You see the both of them in the same shot, and he’s set for life; he’s golden, baby.”
I think that part of the problem is that there just wasn’t a solid group of people who were for Kamala. I mean, look at the way the loud (however outnumbered) Bernie Bros always manage to shut down any criticism of Bernie. Kamala never seemed to have that group of people.
But since that’s not going to happen anytime soon let’s focus on the here and now.
Nope, it started with white people. Specifically, Beth Lynch.
All I’m going to say is that Harris dropping out has the racist trolls on the left and right giddy as hell.
We know the difference — she’s a woman of color.
He gets a pass from left wing media outlets. Who write long think pieces about how horrible everyone else is, including Elizabeth Warren, but nothing about Bernie but glowing adulation. It’s just intellectually dishonest.
So question, how do the people that question Kamala Harris’ black bonafides think black Africans came to be in Jamaica?
I find it disturbing you consistently take the words right out of mouth I agree with all of it- the gun issue especially was very telling to me about his sincerity in “taking on the corporate interests that have bought our politicians!” throw in his push for open primaries instead of closed “for a fairer democratic…
Ah yes. I always enjoy GMG articles handwringing ~what went wrong???~ after spending the past year tearing down candidates, except maybe in Bernie’s case.
They all got what they wanted. Anyway...Bernie isn’t gonna win. Warren isn’t looking much better. We’ll end up with one of the billionaires or Biden. And if black turnout is even lower, welp. I guess we’ll see what happens. Like I said, I’m sitting this shit out until my number is called.
Sure, there were legitimate criticisms of Harris’ record as a prosecutor. But here is where the hypocrisy really bothers me. Sanders spent almost the entirety of the 1990's voting for a series of “tough on crime” “mandatory sentencing” bills, not just the 1994 Crime Bill that his supporters try to explain away. He…
That’s cute that you think young “Democrats” are responsible for this nonsense. Loving all the Kamala post mortems today when all you did was shit on her.
Also a lot of main issues people take with her record are a lot more complicated than “it bad she bad” that people tend to take with her. Take the truancy crackdown for example. The policy was designed to go after parents whose children missed more than 90 days out of a 180 day school year- that level of truancy is so…
Kelly Mehlenbacheris a nobody who jumped to Bloomberg and they timed the hit peice.
There are a lot of lessons to be learned from Harris’s campaign but the biggest one of all should be that Twitter isn’t real life.
