What is an ABC agent?

According to the Cavalier Daily and the video, it was ABC agents rather than police. The same folks that pulled this shit:

When I was a teenager, a friend got caught drinking under-age. The cops took her home, gave her a stern talking-to and handed her over to her parents (who grounded her). She's a lawyer now. She's also white.

These were not normal police. They were ABC police. The same idiots who traumatized a girl and her friends outside of Harris Teeter over a case of water. Apparently they didn't learn their lesson. I hope they do this time!

The whole system is really fucked up, I think.

Bouncers do act like you aren't even you anymore if your license is not "valid". I mean, I AM STILL IRONKITTEN, just because my ID expired last week doesn't mean I am expired! I'm sure some cops are the same.

The old Trax in Charlottesville was the same way. Wasn't even a mile from where this happened.

When i was in college a 100 years ago there was a bar with a wall of fake ids. They would just take the id and send the kid on his way.

Was it even a fake ID? On March 6th, he tweeted that he lost is driver's license. Maybe it was a temporary ID.

News like this should be shocking.

I am actually, sadly, surprised that they did not kill him. I guess they did not because they have to keep the status quo in prison.

Exactly. I can't imagine what excuse the police will offer, but even if he was resisting arrest, the severity of the crime doesn't merit this kind of response.

Oh my god! That poor kid. What the hell!?! Campus police pulling this?! All this over a fake ID? Jeez! I hope he sues, and the cops who did this are arrested...

That the one cop in the photo's face can be so effing calm as he's looking at a fellow human being that he has brutalized is almost more graphic than the rivers of blood pouring down the student's face. I can't even.

I've seen white kids get caught with fake ids, causing considerably more trouble than Martese apparently was, and all that the cops did to them was confiscate the fakes and send them on their way. Not even a shove.

Jesus. I can't even imagine what it would be like to attempt to live the life of an average college student while still worrying about repercussions like this. Thoughts and prayers are with Martese Johnson and his family right now.

I just couldn't remember the word "appropriation" for some reason*.

It concerns me on this whole other level like... I can't even describe.

They put up pictures of DRUG DEALS!? WHY!? Dealing drugs makes you hard and they want everybody to know how hard they are? Because they needed the money from the deals? That's fucking unlikely. It's like the very worst kind of culture theft ever.

I've said this before but this shit freaks me out for a variety of reasons. 1) its horrible horrible horrible. but 2) these kids (or sorry YOUNG MEN-BASICALLY ADULTS) are putting these things online on social media. It is so normalized and okay to them that they feel comfortable putting it in a place that is
