I heard reports of Gronholm having turbo issues near the top, seems that this kinda confirms it. I didn't hear any turbo whistle or wastegate for the last minute or so....anyone know for sure if this is the case?

An unfortunate accident???

Ummm....over at the blog that's about auto's there was a set of pictures, this one may indicate forced induction (think F40)....

@Ambiguously Unfunny Serial Killer: No, I haven't seen it in person and yes that could change my opinion... BUT there's something about it's appearance that I just don't care for. Maybe it just looks too soft.

@Ambiguously Unfunny Serial Killer: It may be is great GT but what's that get you if the best looking part of it is under the bonnett? I've never really liked the way this car looks, the 550 and 575 Maranello were much more handsome IMO.

@benrobNU: Yeah...digging foot out of mouth now...picture # 17 looks like a couple of wastegate actuators - my mistake

Is that a pair of turbos in your pants or are you just happy to see me?

@LoganSix: It's a scary thought and not that far off the mark...

Is this imaginary car day? First the Ferrari mach 2 racer and then this...must be graphic designer graduation day.

@Mike the Dog: It would have been better stated as: "the accident happened on Ponderosa Drive in Clear Creak County, near Denver. Clear Creek is just west of the Denver Metro Area.

It was obvious this run was for the video shoot and not the record lap time. Nonetheless, I'd like to know what the chase car was...

Why is TPMS manditory??? I have never had a problem telling when my tires were low -or- flat. Just more government regulations invading our lives.

So Toyota can get away with this because there's no homologation rules for the series? Who is the sacntioning body for the 24 hours of Nurburgring? (Not FIA, I take it)

@zeeboid: I had a PT cruiser as a rental once - I couldn't wait to turn it back in. It was really uncomfortable, cheap feeling, and underpowered! (and I drive a 1992 eagle talon with 237K miles)
