I wear my great grandmother’s diamond ring on my right hand the majority of the time, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to flip it to the left hand to ward off unwanted attention. And some of my guy friends (all in long, long term relationships) just don’t get why I do it. Partly, I think, because if they

The whole “I’m married” or “I have a boyfriend” thing feels icky to me. It’s certainly safer than “ew, no thanks”, but it shouldn’t be necessary. I’m married, but I could still choose to dance with someone else. Or maybe I’m not married, and I’m still not obligated to dance with somebody I don’t want to dance with.

Who hasn’t had this happen? You make it clear in the most magnanimous way possible that you’re not interested, and that’s when he thinks the “game” begins rather than ends. They think that no matter what you say, if they play the “game” right they deserve you. Then, when it dawns on them that you’re not actually

“Why can’t women just be direct and honest if they don’t want to go out with you?!”

I don’t trust Bernie to have women’s rights as a priority at all, either. When he’s been asked directly about abortion, he changes the subject.

As a former Senator, former Secretary of State, and early advocate for healthcare reform, Hillary Clinton should be proud of her position as a leader in the establishment.

boobs bad, dudes head butting each other into concussions good.

The Catholic church venerates women like Donald Trump cherishes them.

truthfully- if the women hadnt kept it alive- Christianity prob’ly would have died out in the first century.

It’s so interesting to read that many female saints entered religious life to avoid the constraints of domestic life given the Church’s role in keeping women out of public life.

I’m now utterly convinced that Trump is a false-flag working for Hillary.

Their expense report will essentially just be a receipt for 7500$ in snacks.

Now I’m interested. Didn’t know about this movie and probably would have skipped over it because of the band it unfortunately reminds me of.

Neither Griffith nor Hedren are anything like Meryl Streep or Helen Hayes - but they’re both terrific movie stars, which is something a little bit different. It’s a rare performer who can be both technically top-notch and hugely charismatic; usually the balance tips one way or another. I’ve not seen enough of Johnson

Yeah, I just felt sad and resigned about most of the fake headlines, angry at maybe one of them?

What about “scared”? I’m scared a lot of the time and sometimes I (ans psych people have proven this is the case) and a significant number of people elide fear into anger.

I’m a 64 year old white retired English teacher, married, no kids by choice. I’m a Bernie Sanders fan but I’ll end up voting for the nominee: Hillary. I’m not angry. When I was 24, I was angry—and up until I was about 38. I’m on Twitter but will never have a FB account. I am kinda irritated about ageism.

“Republicans rank Congressional dysfunction and consumer fraud as the issues they get angriest about. Democrats rank police shooting unarmed black men as the issue that makes them most mad.”

You had a sad ass childhood if *milk* is your fond memory. Gross yo
