Oh that sounds like a pain! I just visited Detroit recently and passed for a local having shed my Boston accent as a teenager.

It wasn’t until 5th grade, learning the word “idea” for a spelling test, that I realized there was no “r” at the end of it. I spent the first 10(-ish) years of my life thinking idears.

I was at that game! It was magical.

My pal grew up in Chelsea (Nahth Shoah if you’re unfamiliar)... she doesn’t say drawer (as in dresser drawer). It’s draw. Open the draw. My sox are in the draw. She even went to Emerson to rid herself of the accent, but still refuses to say it drawer.

Absolutely, and the video totally nails it. I’m never getting married again, but if I ever got married again, it would definitely be played at my wedding.

Maybe she didn’t know what the vibrators were? Or... she just thought “bag for toys”? Are the vibrators pink too? Man, I wish you could ask her haha.

I concur. I’m not in a romantic relationship, but my friend relationships are all pretty awesome, I think because we make a genuine effort to take care of each other and those relationships.

I’m an Old too and remember the same, but now I think I’d be disappointed if a potential interest didn’t at least Google me.
