It's possible to be a social progressive but still vote republican in terms of your views on government conservatism

Well no one has any idea how she votes, to begin with. As to her saying she's a Republican, call me cynical, but it seems to me like she's simply working a shtick. ie. "Oh I'm the cool reasonable Republican! If you book me, I'll talk shit about other Republicans." It seems to be working for her and frankly I tip my…
She's not a moderate Republican though. At this point what was considered a "moderate Republican" back in the days of oh...George H.W. Bush is just not considered Republican period. You don't see them because the farther the party moves to the right the more "moderates" look like old school conservatives and old…
But what I'm saying is what difference does her point of access to the internet make? I'm just confused. Are you standing over her shoulder watching what she surfs on the web? Do you think you'll be able to exert that kind of control into her teenage years?
I have not gone on an elaborate fact finding mission, so possibly.
Vaginal States would be an amazing band name in 1994.
Goooooood. :) You should get on tumblr!!
Agreed. She's done a lot more than simply stay with him.
The so called top three misunderstood facts about corsets that the author debunks are, in my opinion, not what most people think when they think about corsets.
OMG. Rich looks so cute.
Ha!
So...what difference does it make where she has access to the internet? Unless you're saying you wont allow your daughter any internet access? Which, in this day and age, seems like a losing battle.
Yes I did see all the things. Like how Mitt hasn't signed the personhood bill either?? Seriously they are virtually identical. Mitt Romney held many of the same "moderate" positions on civil unions and global warming it's just recently that he's paid lip service to the ultra conservative line. They would both slash…
Agreed. He is a shit with the emotional maturity of a 15 year old.
Chris Christie is 100% NOT a serious Republican candidate. He would face the exact same problems with the conservative base that caused Huntsman to drop out of the race and that Romney still struggles with. But I agree that Huntsman 2016 is a definite possibility.
He was just a poor man's Mitt Romney. They basically hold all the same positions, Romney just has the money and backing.
Thank you.
Who are the really serious Republican candidates though? The only one I could possibly think of is Jeb Bush. There's really not many other high profile Republicans out there. I don't count John Boehner. He's on the same level as these current candidates. They don't have a "star" right now.
Yeah but the difference is Ron Paul is garnering significant votes in these primaries. More than any other candidate save Romney. So the fact that the news outlets are ignoring him is odd. Huntsman...was not thus the lack of media attention makes sense.
Should we stop translating dead authors works into other languages because they're not alive to approve any changes? Any author loses control over what happens to their work to some extent after death.
