The scary thing is this sort of thing happens all the time. There is rampant sexual abuse in women's prisons in the US.

@Ksenia: You might but this (Jezebel) website doesn't.

@DepecheNode: My point had nothing to do with whether the clothes were ugly or not or whether you thought they were ugly, it had to do with the fact that time and time again they get called out for it (often on this very website) and there seems to be no corresponding criticism for more expensive fashion.

@caseycannolis: Tiresome isn't it? Actually thinking about things on a deeper level? Don't worry your nightmare is over now.

@emmyloowho: Oh thanks for adding that. :)

@DepecheNode: Well if you followed the link to the website you'd know and that really wasn't my point.

He tryed to make her his wyfe but alas she dyclyned his offer.

edited to say something serious: the shitting on forever 21 (and like stores) strikes me as incredibly classist.

I was really impressed by the way she stood up for herself UNTIL I read an article on THIS VERY website that explained to me any and all sexual harassment/assault was empowering for women. Now I just think she's ungrateful.

Ok. Does this guy even exist? (nothing comes up on google except this article and a suspicious FB page w 3 friends and most guest articles link back to the original source)

@Peppermint: Most likely. I feel dirty for having participated.

@sterlingsilver36: Aw thanks sometimes I have no patience and yes same thread.

@ahjenn21: In all seriousness it really should. That was upsetting.

hahahahaha. Sigh. I'm laughing because I'm remembering yesterday when a commenter informed me Jezebel was a "feminist" website while also denying the existence of rape culture.

@lezebel-in-chief: I just represented a guy who's wife threw a television set down the stairs after him and it grazed his head. He has a scar down the side of his face. He outweighs her by at least 100lbs. Size doesn't matter and victims of abuse are victims despite gender.

Also, I do judge the woman for beating on another person and I judge her again for doing it in front of her kid. I'd do the same if the sexes were reversed.

I worry about anyones personal safety when they are a victim of domestic violence. Why aren't we worried about Gary? Because he is bigger than her?

@pastanaut: Maybe. It depends if you could prove some sort of imminent danger you were defending against.
