Hovering over the toilet seat—besides increasing the risk of leaving puddles for the next person—doesn't protect you from anything either. Toilet seats aren't that dirty, but when you flush, some of that toilet water is going to splash nearly invisibly all over you, whether you hovered or not.

Worth noting for those who didn't watch the full video: Yes, partially used batteries have some bounce as well. So if you were hoping to test if a battery has just a *little* juice left, this may not be terribly effective.

An email asking "What time are you available tomorrow?" is much easier to respond to immediately than an email saying "I need reports on the last five years worth of data" whether

Between Google, LastPass, Dropbox, and Microsoft, my Authenticator screen is getting pretty busy, and I explicitly log in to Twitter/Linked in so rarely (especially on new computers) that I prefer to not

You can use IFTTT to have all Google Reader items with specific tags (including tags you apply to an entire feed or manually add to specific items) or items you star automatically saved to Evernote.
