My takeaway? If it only costs $89.2 billion to connect everyone via high speed fiber, do that shit NOW. That is a drop in the bucket compared to the benefits we would get. That's what, like an eighth of the military's budget this year? We can get rid of that much bullshit easy.

Looking at videos like this, and all the vehicle stunts people pull off, it amazes me that no one has made a large budget sand-box game JUST for this kind of shit. Like, no story, just you in a large city with a decently varied environment and a whole lot of toys to play with. Something like Forge from Halo meets

This looks damn tasty to me, definitely would eat it ^^

he downloaded for our sins

First impressions:
- 21st century clothing but no guns
- Claustrophobic level design
- Puke-worthy combat animations
- Terrible AI
- looks like Dragon Age
- definitely Bioware quality

The sex stuff in MGS is all in good fun I suppose but it is pretty silly and out of place at times. I'm midway through MGS4 and Naomi's wide open shirt and breasts hanging out are distracting and not in the good way. It makes her look like some sort of sex worker not the scientist she is. Just unnecessary.

Also,

A competent engine to do stuff and they're not doing anything different.

I wasn't going to give you a star, but the Kotaku "YES" got me.

I can see it now...

It would be great if the world would just stop buying such crap altogether. I think it will happen, not now, but eventually.

That's odd, my bullshit-o-meter is spiking.

I may just be a novice game developer and a kotaku-commenter, but EA's excuses smell like BS to me.

dont they have different tiers? Like 2nd story buildings, etc? Just start out on an altitude two tiers up and make the only way to go lower being digging through the earth.

Ah yes, just like how Simcity had to be online-only, because it had to use cloud computing.

Aww I miss watching the original Warthog Jump video.

video fail for not using Danger Zone as the background music.

Whether you hate the game or not, you have to admit this theme is one of the most iconic in videogame history.
