The thing about Nate being the corpse, I think, would have fit Annalese's reaction a bit better, we saw she was stunned and really upset, true, but I just expected Wes' demise to be something that would have completely incapcitated her. Which is why I really didnt think it was Wes under the sheet earlier in the

Bonnie has already betrayed Annalise by sleeping with Frank and hiding it from her (and meeting with him in the first place), and I think other times in the past, no? Still, you might be right about Bonnie being responsible.

"Annalise IS a sociopath. But she's a well defined sociopath with the best of intentions. "

The showrunners confirmed that Wes is definitely dead…check out TVLine. No misdirection, he's a corpse. ;)

Out of the original 5 though, Wes seemed to be by far the most important to the backstory of the series, just seems weird to set up his character that way, and have him rubbed out in Season 3.

I'm not sure Annalese can go any lower than lying on the floor drunk and unconscious, lol. ;)

Geez, of all the people to kill off….Wes' past has been a huge part of Annalese's backstory and the foundation of the series, so I'm not sure he was the best choice here. Nate would have been my first choice as he's been really marginalized since being pushed away.

Actually, the production crew went completely off in the other direction this time….Lars' drums sound like he triggered everything and the guitars are incredibly obviously cleaned up in the studio.

The entire sound is wayy too dry for my taste. But hey, regarding bass, it could've been worse!

Night Crawlers? Is this Charlie? Or Frank?

On first listen, it sounds like DM 2.0, which isnt a bad thing. And I'll be damned if I cant get the riffs from "Atlas, Rise" out of my head.

Ooooh, what a goood boyy you are!!!

That song (No Leaf Clover) actually has one of my all-time favorite Hammett solos. Too bad its actually 2 nights solos spliced into one solo on the final album cut.

AINT FANGER is the best tallica!

Plus unlike the older albums, the production is phenomenal.

Yeah, this show would have benefitted from being on FX, where they could do the "Kurt Sutter" overrun—-but for plots that really needed it. I think the pilot and this episode could have really used the extra time.
