You’d think it would be simple enough to design in a wind diffuser...

He dropped almost $1500.  A set for her and a set for him?  I don’t see where it says it’s only her tires that cost almost $1500.

When people don’t get out in the intersection waiting to turn left at a green light.  Making matters worse, they then don’t go on the yellow light when we both could’ve made it!

That would only be true if the same suppliers are being used.  I wonder if that’s the case when in different markets.

Or there was a last minute addition to make it a hybrid, which forced the wiring update...

I’m disappointed David. Why aren’t all your hand drawn graphics and calculations done on engineering paper?! /s

Wait, what product is this selling?  Because I need it...

There’s devices out there can can quickly (<1ms) disconnect the cable. Some are through the relay or with a fuse, others use pyrotechnics to sever the line. There’s still plenty of arcing that could lead to a fire, so those systems become more sophisticated at higher voltages to extinguish that arc.  It gets pretty

Yeah, it’s got the 2GR-FE.  I’ll go the additive route for now...

It’s a Sienna with close to 130K. It started happening, suspiciously, after the oil cooler hose was replaced.  But, I haven’t had an issue for a few years.  It was odd.  I guess I’ll go down the route of replacing it when it happens again.

Nowadays, you can check in on those newfangled devices that are connected to the cybers!

You say junk oil and/or infrequent oil changes. I’ve kept up on oil changes and used the occasional quick lube and will get an engine code on rare occasions.  I suspect pin is starting to wear a groove in the cover.  Any way to prevent/slow this down?  I now do all my oil changes with high mileage full synthetic oil

Ticket fees were $19,057.50, or $577.50 average per ticket. Some were probably in the $200-300 range for slightly over the limit and $1000+ for way over.  This sounds typical...

At that point, it just arcs. You’ve then got to extinguish the arc.

Don’t you mean “forever doing 59 in the left lane on the 95"?

Everything but the heated seat is appealing.  Heated seats are like sitting on a public toilet right after someone else just used it, but you didn’t know.  Surprise!

I wonder if tooling for that specific part wasn’t damaged in the fire. Could be refurbished if needed and used at another supplier?

==701hp, naturally

Disconnecting high voltage systems prior to a battery being damaged, which leads to fire, has to be done rapidly, which is difficult to do without arcing. Fuses and relays exist to do this, but aren’t typically fast enough or robust enough for high voltage systems. Disconnect devices (http://www.pyroswitch.com/) with
