I also like Warren a lot, and I think we should be a little wary of focusing so much on electability. 2016 traumatized us and I think it’s fogging shit up. We’re still a ways out from 2020, a lot will change, and we’ve proven that we have a pretty shit idea about who’s electable and who’s not. Maybe the best medicine…
I don’t understand how anyone could put that in their mouth. It’s a petri dish. I clean mine every night, and still it makes my breath worse in the morning.
I don’t find mine uncomfortable at all, and the negative effects of teeth grinding are also immediate: poor sleep, headaches, etc.
I was sleeping very poorly (although I still do that...), and getting tooth and headaches. It’s helped a lot. And I definitely was grinding my teeth because I’ve carved grooves in the hard plastic.
Here’s ANOTHER curveballs:
It’s one burner? I effectively said this in response to a few different people, in different comments. And yeah, I realize no one cares, and I did it anyway. Got a little carried away. Because I’m upset. Because some liberals are turning on liberalism, and it will quicken the rise of totalitarianism. LGBQT rights are…
I think he was making a point about intellectual honesty, based on subsequent explanations of his position. While he is very pro-life, I took his comments to be intended as revealing, through provocation, major contradictions in pro-life rhetoric that have allowed it to become this totally corrosive wedge issue.
Are you reading the what they actually publish, or is this all guilt by association?
By all means, don’t listen to or read this woman’s dumb comments on this topic.

Of course there’s no reason, as of yet, to believe that she was hired to voice her opinion on trans issues. That was just the unfounded implication this article made.
Responding to your last response, i.e. “I’m with you there” (mostly in agreement with everything else).
This article and the comments it’s getting are incredibly disheartening.
At what point do we draw the line in this free speech stuff? We shouldn’t celebrate “opinions” and “debate” based on misinformation and bad faith arguments.
Political violence is actually not good for constitutional democracy.
I love that I read that in a Palpatine voice in my head before realizing that it was actually a Palpatine reference.
Just try to remember that cops are human beings too, and they make mistakes.*
She should be terrified of Rep. Johnson-Harrell, because she’s a badass. I had no idea she was running for office, but recognizing her in this picture I googled to confirm that she was the victim’s services supervisor in the Philly DA’s office that was on a panel discussion I was at. From what I saw, she is fiercely…
This is so fucked. Traumatizing children to prepare them for a statistically very unlikely event--all without doing anything to actually prevent those events—is bad enough already.
