bravo +1

I disagree regarding their current line up, just purchased a 2013 Outlander GT and have been very impressed with its build quality and capabilities. Plus it looks 10x better than anything in its class. Where is it ranked #35? Did Mitsubishi lose its way as a brand in 2012? Yeah, I agree w/ that. They better have some

If i was in the market something smaller i sure would, the SX4 looks like a blast too...

'....Mitsubishi....still exists??'

It's hard to imaging Volvo moving away from wagons. My wife owns a real wagon, a Volvo imposter as it were...since it seems we're counting wagons.

No, the new Eclipse isn't that bad. It's gets a very bad rap here for being a (very) heavy FF, but its the most well made and fastest Eclipse Mitsu ever made. Its a good alternative to the Z if you have kids or like cargo room. It's a great DD for me and holds it own at the track too. Most of the haters have never

Mitsubishi Diamante Wagon. And no, there's not a good picture of one anywhere either...

The 4G was an certainly an improvement, but really needed the Ralliart concept to be released as a halo model to get any kind attention after the 3G. Without it, all anybody could see was another heavy FF. The real issue was a branding issue. The 4G is the fastest Eclipse after all.

4 cars in 23 years:

Agreed. I wish MMNA would take a look at QOTD post you had last week. I don't see why they can't push electric/alternative fueled cars while keeping pace with the segment they created and ruled for about 15 years. The current line up could still be great with some love and common sense added to the mix. I'm bummed, my

@tonyola: Nader didn't 'spoil' the election for Gore, every third party candidate in Florida had more votes than the amount Gore lost by, and Bush was handed the prize by the court. Gore ruined it for Nader in my mind. He has made some money from book signings, but 'serious' money? Are you kidding? Who cares if he

@cruzer555: Well, more reliable is debatable, but I hear ya, a used S4 is a lot of car the money.

@OhNoEzanEscalade!!!11!: You're right, I am screwed, very. I'm not a member of either party, and I have no faith in either to solve the financial crisis or get us out the wars they start. I don't believe the Afghanistan war is 'right' in any way. I have as much moral and ideological issues w/ government likely as

@Darkside Carebear: Yes, not many folks know about the concept Ralliart, but it would have been my choice. I have the 4G GT, but the concept would have been car of the year...

@MushyHeirloom: Sure, those are certainly valid criticisms, as they are with most FWD cars. Mitsu originally designed an AWD Ralliart version that would have been far more respectable, [web.mac.com] but quashed it for whatever reason.

@Effin' Eh: That might (not likely, but might) make sense if the guys like new CEO up there paid the same percentage of taxes I do, but they don't. They pay less due to Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy, now on the chopping block thank god. What about the years I get no benefits? What about not being at war every year?

@cruzer555: I am sad, and I did say I was a poser. But with the Eclipse I have back seats and cargo room, and its reliable, so I'm not that sad. The Eclipse was designed in CA and built in Illinois, btw. I'm sure I'll be much happier next time buying a 10 year old Vette.

Oh, how heartbreaking. My favorite website flames my car. I guess I'm a poser, but I love the 4g Eclipse. I don't understand how a 5.8 sec 0-60 is considered 'the worst', that's the fastest stock time of any generation Eclipse and it's absolutely beautiful. Sure, the rides softer than ever, but on LA roads I can't say

@zeeboid: So when I want the taxes I pay to go towards healthcare, education and environmental protection instead of war, bailing out corporations and banks, that means I'm being handed something for free? Did I get that right?

@Drunken_Donuts: Man, how did you know at some point there would be a leaf blower incident in Toronto when you grabbed that pic?
