What’s wrong with it, purely in entertainment, is that they get amazing actors to play the mom/wife and then give them barely anything to do besides worry about the husband/kids, while everyone else is off doing the cool movie stuff. Like, she’s helped out, mostly off screen via text, but it’s all just been standing

Especially weird here since the marketing team has decided they DGAF and have just been putting both of them in their full costumes on all the promo materials.

It wasn’t until Clint refused to answer Eleanor’s question about whether or not he has kids that I remembered his family is supposed to be a massive secret he hid from even his close colleagues. Weird that he was just openly wandering around New York City with his kids in the premiere then...

They’re opening the Multiverse door, all they would have to say is “all of the old Marvel TV shows are in a slightly different universe, now here’s some of those characters in the MCU with the same actors and maybe they went through some of the same things, but we reserve the right to retell those stories if we want.”

Hate to be a bummer, but MODOK and Hit-Monkey are 100% dead. The only reason they got released was because they were already well into production of the episodes when Feige became CCO so it wouldn’t have been worth it to cancel them. That’s why the other Offender shows got cancelled, they were still early on in the

Look, Bernthal is great in the role. But they shouldn’t bother doing a new Punisher anything if it’s not going to straight up take the Blue Lives Matter and “good guy with a gun” shit and loudly proclaim in every frame how stupid and evil those things are, especially for adopting the logo. No more “oh, there was a

Plus HIMYM was still on the air, so only time for guest spots. At the same time, Masters of Sex also prevented Lizzie Caplan from continuing on from the Item 37 One Shot as a SHIELD agent, who conceivably could have been a lead for AoS.

Counterpoint: No WandaVision theory ever made sense, people were looking for things that weren’t there, reading into things that either didn’t have anything to read into, or were actively shouting to the audience something else. And I know there’s “what about Evan Peters as Quicksilver?? That meant Magneto could show

I don’t even care if they ignore the Netflix show canon, just wave their hands and say “multiverse,” whatever, they just need to keep (most of) the actors. Which if this is Kingpin it needs to be d’Onofrio.

Now playing

They apparently did have someone in the LARP group dressed in the classic Hawkeye costume (it can be seen in some quick shots in this featurette). Seems like they might have cut him out in the final cut, though.

(Listen, I get the criticisms about too much crossover, too much franchising, let Spider-Man be the star in his own movie.)

Worth noting, that, obviously, as animation it’s been in production for years and would have taken no influence from the D+ shows, and that it’s the actual, final Marvel TV (ie, under Loeb) show. Marvel Studios & Feige have nothing to do with it. Like MODOK, it was just too far in to production to cancel, unlike the

Actors who play terrible people in things are usually some of the nicest people around. It’s usually what allows them to play such terrible, mean characters that we still find engaging to watch. See also the Always Sunny cast, particularly DeVito, or Odenkirk.

Do you?

I mean if that’s what you’re into who am I to judge

Really just have this one joke format, huh

It wouldn’t be a slip until audiences start seeing it and make a determination about it. My point is that critics aren’t the only deciders of if something is a failure. The general audience matters too, with one easy way to determine how they feel about it being how much it makes and how much it drops week to week.

No reply to actually being challenged in your weird hobby of probably going around trying to do “gotchya”s to anyone who says something nice about Marvel and doesn’t immediately jump into the “everything is bad” pool. I’d say I’m surprised, but am I?

First, fuck Mel Gibson and everyone giving him roles. Must suck for him to be “cancelled”
