I was worried that Whitney was going to kill Ray Wise, which would have been a huge mistake.Everything always needs MORE Ray Wise.

Yea, they're doing so poorly, I can't believe they're making more. I mean, how can the genre survive after how horribly Deadpool did this last weekend?
I thought it was gophers?
Oh no, not the half-baked Rick love story sub-plot! Now Carl will be all alone with his half-baked love story sub-plot!
It's definitely a problem on both sides. You can see Feige holding back "Hell no"s whenever he's asked about a TV character (mostly Daredevil recently) appearing in a movie.
#TeamAmerica
At least Marvel isn't showing Cap and Iron Man teaming up at the end of the trailers and THEN asking for people to "Pick a Side."
MADer TV?
Hera: "This place is charted now. Since the Ghost has been here, we can always return."
There's still the situation of Perlmutter and Feige not working together, which is one of the bigger hurdles. The only thing Studios and TV work together on is Agent Carter, and that's why there's actually more movie crossover than a cameo here or there. Plus, with Agents of SHIELD's middling quality (I think it's ok,…
To be fair to Sharon, she's only been in one movie, but since she's Steve's new love interest, and related to Peggy Carter, I would say she's more important than Sif. For now, anyway. If she's not fleshed out more in Civil War, then I'll agree.
Adult Swim still shows anime? I thought it was all Seth McFarlane shows. Did Seth McFarlane start making anime??
"which will skip the celebrity sit-downs"
She does become a badass out of nowhere, and is even surprised immediately after she does it that it happened, but it's still like 30 seconds of the entire movie. It doesn't ruin it for me.
That still only leaves the side characters as the most willing people to do TV. The big stars will still want more money to do it, and unless Studios and TV start working better together, Feige probably won't exactly be pushing for them to do it.
That would have to happen at contract re-negotiations, which depending on what happens to Tony Stark, won't come until after Infinity War (those are the last movies he's contracted for, IIRC). Since Studios is out from under the penny pinching Perlmutter, they would probably be more willing to pay the actors more, but…
That's the reorganization I want to happen. Or at least have Loeb report to someone at Disney directly instead of Perlmutter.
That would be Ike Perlmutter, who as the head of Marvel probably isn't getting fired anytime soon. Him and Feige didn't get along, and since Feige moved Studios out from under Marvel to under Disney directly, Perlmutter has even less of a reason to have the TV stuff crossover with the movies.
I've pretty much given up expecting any big character crossovers like that, besides any side-level characters (like Sif, who I don't expect to see again soon on the show since Alexander has her own show now). That is, unless there's a BIG organizational shakeup at Marvel and the TV division gets put closer to Studios.…
It's not that TIH is necessarily bad in any big way, just that it's been forgotten, had the unfortunate honor of following Iron Man, and the actor change, along with none of the other characters appearing in any other movie (until Civil War) didn't help.
