im getting a degree here soon in Telecommunications and networking, and from my experience getting people at your workplace to shift over to something unfamiliar just isnt worth the headache 90% of the time. any employee who owns a computer probably owns a PC, and its just easier for them to use the same thing at work…

ive had the opposite problem. i have a friend who owns a new Macbook, and for the life of us we cant get certain games to play smooth on it, despite running smooth on an older PC with WAY outdated hardware. Luck of the draw i suppose.

Ill admit that No Software was a bit broad. when i say that, i meant that everyday software, such as for certian phone brands, Flash just wont work, while other programs, such as ADOBE, tend to have numerous errors that take forever to get fixed.

yea but who uses linux beyond server use. i mean nooone owns JUST a linux computer. they either emulate linux for playing around or have a linux and PC/Mac. There just isnt enough support for what many users want to do for linux, mostly because your average user doesnt use it, thus there is no market.
