I haven’t played Paladins since the hook turtle was brand new. I recall having fun with the sniper that could stack buff cards for her zappy mine ability. But I did enjoy it a bit considering I was also playing overwatch at the time.

Lets be fair, it’s just an archetype at this point. Fat health sponge with a hook. I can’t say anyone is copying anyone else at this point. Fat hook man is a popular playstyle, so it’s bound to be included in these types of games in some way.

Is there anything to discuss about the swatting though? It’s wrong and illegal. I don’t think there’s anyone here that disagrees with that.

It’s an alright game. Not to spoil anything, but they take some neat ideas and tease you with interesting plots and then do nothing with them. That’s where the disappointment is.

It depends on what from current wow would get brought over and if they change how wpvp works. If wpvp is just a toggle so you can’t be ganked, then I won’t even bother. At that point it may as well just be a pve server.

Man, this is something that bums me out as someone who’s going to get it on PC. All the neat tricks and puzzles will have been done before I even start playing. There won’t be groups racing to discover all the secrets since the console crowd will have already done all of it.

Even as someone from the jaded side of the internet, I won’t defend Pewdiepie. His private circle of friends probably has that “edgey” sense of humor, but it was a pretty dumb thing to say in a public setting. However, the firewatch devs are (forgive the pun) playing with fire.

Depends. Ranked mode supports normal wins and “knockout” wins. These results are differentiated in game.
