I did, he was going 2+ seconds faster than most guys he was passing, yet he struggled for each pass once he got into the top 10 guys. He should have easily made it to 5th had this been nearly any other race (I think Bottas did it at Baku starting from the back thanks to a puncture or something)

The fact Vettle could not pass Ricciardo when there were power issues really proves how much they depend on long DRS zones and wide lanes for passing. It was so bad that 2 spots back Hamilton even said Ricciardo must be slowing the field down because he had no issue keeping up.
