Ricciardo must be thrilled that Max won’t be able to wreck him out tomorrow. He ought to win unless his pit crew botched it again.

I agree, it was totally short-sighted. I know ownership didn’t want to pay the luxury tax.
Legitimately ONLY Warriors fans think “Rockets without injured CP3" = “Warriors without injured Iguodala”.
That’s not fair. If the roles were reversed, the narrative would be how great the Warriors defense is and how they are forcing the rockets into turnovers. Everyone needs to just give the Rockets credit already and stop with the “Yes, But”.
Just a point of clarification - the hamstring that troubled CP3 throughout the season was his left hamstring. The one he favored last night was his right.
Counterpoint: Steph is healthy, Klay is not injured, Iggy is a great player but he is their fifth best player and they should be able to function without him.
Feels like it has to be Luc Mbah a Moute. He’s the only guy who can play the level of defense they need and they have to hope he doesn’t blow 15 layups in a row.
you come up with a narrative pre-series and you’re damn sure gonna shoe-horn that narrative despite what is happening on the court. smh.
Not to mention the fact that the Rockets are doing all that great defensive work without their best regular season defender, LMAM.
You cant be one of the greatest teams ever if losing Andre Iguodola makes it all fall apart.
This is a pathetic piece. Is it really that hard to see how much better the rockets defense has gotten? They switch everything, are longer and more athletic than GS and are working their asses off. Fun little fact, when you put more energy into defense, offense becomes less effective.
Has this always been the case and I just haven’t paid attention? I get that the Rockets can be rough to watch (although I honestly have seen very little of this year’s playoffs, so I’m only basing this on clips) but they have no small part in the issues the Warriors are currently facing.
I see we’re still giving the Rockets little to no credit. That’s cool.
Jesus Christ, Tom. Maybe the rockets are good and stopping the Warriors? Why the hell is everyone such a warrior apologist?
In an attempt to die pretty, the Warriors quickly traded a package of Draymond, Steph, Klay, and Durant for Rick Fox.
Damn, this site’s commitment to not admitting the Rockets are actually worthy of being where they are is strong.
Again, and I’m not sure how this isn’t pretty obvious to anyone who is actually paying attention to the games: the Warriors motion offense is exceptionally lese effective against a team that can switch everything and has spent the whole season practicing that switching strategy with the specific goal of using it…
They shouldn’t have won in 2015. They lucked into a Cavs team that played without two All Stars.
“It’s the careless things the Warriors are doing that is most surprising.”
