They shouldn’t have won in 2015. They lucked into a Cavs team that played without two All Stars.

“It’s the careless things the Warriors are doing that is most surprising.”
Yes! A million times this! While we were waiting for the replay at the bar I was yelling, “please tell me he kicked that ball! It’s all he knows how to do!”
Thanks! This is a really great response. I noticed some of the stuff you mentioned (Rockets jumping passing lanes, fewer lobs for Capela) but wasn’t sure of the defensive adjustments that caused those outcomes.
What happens (again) if Iguodala can’t go? His absence has probably hurt GSW more than most people realize. If CP can’t go, somebody has to step up. If Iguodala returns *and* Chris Paul can’t go, that’s a bad combination for the Rockets.
There’s been all sorts of talk about how Golden State’s formerly flowing offence has ground to a halt these last few games but I’d argue it has been like that for half a season now, since Curry got hurt and KD stepped up. Obviously Durant is incredible, but god damned does everything come to a halt now when he gets…
“A lot of the Warriors have three rings already.”
3 rings? Did a lot of them win one before coming to Golden State? Or did you forget that the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in 2016?
I know he’s more of an opinion piece guy but Burneko saying the Warriors got “brain worms” (as if he’s paying more attention to what’s going on than Kerr) instead of acknowledging that its tough to run that motion offense against a team that can credibly switch 1-5 AND is communicating at a high level on defense was…
It was also nice seeing Draymond get betrayed in the final seconds by a new interpretation of knee-to-ball contact.
Everyone switches -> Iso ball -> max effort -> x100 -> fatigue -> great teams playing like trash fire
This my fault. I used one of my monkey paw wishes to ask for a close game. I should have asked for a good game.
NHL playoffs > NBA playoffs.
I’ll take this over Michael Kay or John Sterling’s self-satisfied catchphrases any day.

The general consensus among fans is that ownership is stupid and Ruocco should absolutely be the everyday play by play man. God, I hope Kay loses his job over this.
This is the baseball equivalent of why I love Emrick as a hockey announcer. Dude is just excited about hockey in general and for a national broadcaster, his aversion to catchphrases or even using the same word again in 15 minutes, is good for humanity.
SAY IT TO MY FACE
They’ve lost some of their depth from those “Durant-less” squads, so if he was injured at the start of the playoffs, I wouldn’t be so sure they’d have beaten that red-hot Pelicans team from the last round.
