Martin makes some questionable hits. He isn’t as bad as them, but he still does it from time to time.

That’s the way it always works in the NHL. the refs never see the original infraction, but they always call the retaliatory one. Wingles got away with a small cheap shot. Probably the first of many because I’m sure the playoffs will be littered with those, like always.
You must have the rosiest homer goggles in the history of homer goggles.
At least until the first round is over.
Is that Tim Kurkjian’s hockey doppelganger?
So are Kadri, Polák and Martin. Most teams have at least a few scumbags on them.
The leaping hit to the head from behind is worse by any measure, on any scale.
That isn’t even close to goaltender interference. What are you talking about?
That’s one of the most hideous things I’ve ever seen. What is is, is something that needs to be killed... with fire!
What the hell is a driver-side passenger wheel?
It has a gear reduction through the portal axles that gives it a sub 40mph top speed, if memory serves. That’s fine off-road but useless everywhere else. I’ve also read that the prototype is not very nice to drive and has trouble turning in one direction due to it’s hastily built nature and lack of refinement.
I don’t want to know what it felt like when they backed up and fell back down. That had to hurt.
Most of his blunders were solo acts, but he was technically from the Arsenal academy, so...
A future ‘let’s remember some baseball guys’ guy.
It’s because Toronto honors Canadian traditions and apologizes profusely.
It’s just optics. Nobody wants to be the guy who did’t have their teammates back. Nobody expects the relievers to actually throw down.
You should get divorced and tell him it’s his fault. That’ll show ‘em!
Szczesny is one of those enigmatic sorts of players who can make a phenomenal play one moment and immediately follow it up with the stupidest fucking mistake in human history.
No. He really, really wasn’t. He stood and straightened up to wait for the cross and what could have been an easy goal. If Benatia doesn’t run into his back, that’s a tap-in.
If there was light contact and a player on the ground at the other end: I think it would be called the same. Plays like that don’t really favor Spanish teams over Italian ones. Diving isn’t exactly a rare occurrence in Italy either.
