Why did you list two cities and a state? That’s weird.

It’s a NASA sanctioned launch by an American company and therefore, an American one.

I’m not sure I’d call it safer at this point. Scaled composites has killed a pilot. SpaceX has had any fatalities.

It’s probably cheaper and more efficient to have a single production line and make the cockpits structurally identical. Perhaps with the aircraft controls on one side and the launch controls on the other. to keep the mass centered.

I would assume it’s designed so that the center of mass with and without a payload are as close together as possible. This would make the plane more responsive once the rocket was released, due to lower mass, but the balance of that mass wouldn’t change too much keeping the flight characteristics similar on ascent and

Maybe they’re supersized 2JE-GTEs, flying in the face of all reason and logic.

“It’s hard to make a rocket engine that works well both near the Earth, where the air pressure is high, and as it reaches orbit, where the air pressure drops to nearly nothing,” Granade said via email. “Worse, rockets have to carry their own oxidizer to burn their fuel, because once they reach high altitudes, there’s

Going solely by the video: I’m not so sure his legs are okay. His left leg looks a bit floppy as he’s being loaded onto the stretcher. I’m sure he’ll take a leg/hip injury over a brain/spine injury though. All told, I think he made out alright.

I don’t think the shot by Kane from the top of the 18 that was straight at Cech was too bad of a miss. He had only a very narrow window to aim at through bodies and it just so happened that Cech had that window covered.

Welbeck is in the same camp as Theo Walcott, in that he’s much better as a sub than as a starter. When speed is your only weapon, playing more than 20-30 minutes is pointless.

If Lacazette weren’t so shitty at finishing, they’d have had two goals ( Granted Kane missed a gilt edged chance as well and Lamela was just as useless as Lacazette in front of the goal ).

I would counter that an injured Lacazette can’t miss any sitters, though and it’s not like he’s been scoring, so it’s not much of a loss. Danny Welbeck or any other bench player is good enough to play the Europa League scrubs and Aubameyang is basically always going to be preferred in the PL.

Hahaha! No it isn’t.

Seeing LeBron play as a guard on offense and then guarding the post on defense was weird. He’s basically their big man now.

They only have two prototypes currently and they are slightly different from one another. Losing a unique test article would be quite a setback.

I don’t think Dixon was pushing for fast laps during the windscreen test ( Imagine how irritated the engineers would have been if he crashed ). but the fact that his times were all basically the same - running whatever downforce level they were at - shows his consistency.

He is the best driver in the series.

They don’t really need one, since knowing their speed doesn’t help them much in the cockpit.

They haven’t done impact tests yet, but the screen is made by PPG using the same technology and materials ( called Opticor ) that go into making Fighter Jet canopies.

The aeroscreen Formula 1 tested was significantly different from this one. It was much more severely raked and curved. The video makes it pretty clear that distortion is very, very minimal with this device.
