He had an iffy ticker, so the news isn’t the most surprising, but it’s still sad.

My favorite figure in American racing by a mile. Sad to hear, but 86 is pretty damn good for a ‘60s GP driver. So many of his peers, friends and colleagues didn’t even make it through the decade.
*Don’t.
Aleshin isn’t quite as crashy in sports cars as he was in Indycar. It probably has more to do with the lack of ovals than it does with him though.
At least one person does.
Agreed.
He probably has it tattooed on his body under the shirt and it’s probably a repping a second-rate heavy metal band like Triumph ( sorry Canada, but you know it’s true ).
They’re saying it’s involuntary manslaughter because the swatter’s actions, perhaps without actual intent, directly led to the death of an innocent, unarmed man in a police shooting.
There have been articles here about the incident itself and the details ( at least what’s been released ) of the shooting.
Shit. He really does.
In many cases it is infuriatingly easy for SWAT to be used as a weapon by swaters, but in this case that isn’t quite what happened. They weren’t SWAT, just regular uniformed officers, one of which was apparently really eager to shoot someone that day.
I love the 10-and-1 steering wheel grip in that GIF.
I love the more ridiculous ‘60s and ‘70s cars. Their impracticality is part of the charm.
Those amateur designers don’t have to try to sell that design or justify it’s cost.
As a local resident, I would be okay with this.
yeah this one is quite sadly overlooked. really sharp european-esque styling
The people complaining about the lack of an adventurous interior layout, which seems to be most of the complaints here, don’t seem too bothered by the lack of a steering wheel.
There has never been a mentality and worldview more psychopathic than that of European or “white people”.
I think people just want a reason to hate on it because it’s GM.
Cruise is GM’s autonomous tech division, not a model name.
