This is a story that never concluded. It reached an “ok” stopping point, but ultimately a continuation has been desired for over a decade. I’m not gonna get all peepants about it. FLCL is amazing.

This was an excellent show. Spectacular animation and no gratuitous “Fan Service”. The characters are hilarious without leaning too hard into the usual anime tropes and jokes. Much of the humor is derided from the Voice Actors’ delivery of the lines and not necessarily the script. This is a godsend to animators.
