It’ll be the quote I use on all of the postmortems about how DT won the election.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. My husband calls me Alice because I will go down the Internet rabbit hole and end up in the strangest places. I love it but I’m also cognizant that a significant portion of it isn’t true and, being a nerd, tend to research topics I find interesting.
He took the story to its logical conclusion. Eventually someone would have to “think about the children.” I’m not saying what he did was right, but the Alex Joneses and Michael Flynns share some culpability.
Nope. Apparently the Today Show used a picture of Baltimore when talking about protests in Charleston. Naturally this upset many Charlestonians. Instead of purely refuting this as nonsense, comments on the article immediately leap to Hillary Clinton’s media trying to paint them poorly because they elected Trump and…
That would make sense, too - using it as a way to take care of your fam/friends.
I mean watching every season of Grey’s Anatomy should get me something.
“Ben Carson—who talks a lot about growing up poor and succeeding—will probably take the position that social welfare programs and government assistance actually cripple people and keep them from realizing their potential.”
I know I could use the google but I’m lazy. Any chance you could list some of the crap he passed (especially that impacted blue collar workers)?
I think the key is Christie was attempting to play the political unspoken mutual back scratch game whereas Carson point blank said he was stumping for Trump in exchange for a position. Trump wasn’t looking for mutually beneficial relationships, he was looking for fealty.
I heard on a podcast awhile back that to avoid being sued for sounding the same, Thomas Rhett included all of the artists on Low Rider (by War) for his new song Vacation. Not sure if it’s the case for the songs above, although with all the sampling it may be the case.
Yeah, it was a theory I had jumped on early on, but seeing it come to fruition was...disheartening. There was just something so hamhanded about his becoming cold calculated evil with a taste for blood with each kill on his Dolores rescue mission transitioning to him actually still being good, and his cruelty was him…
Ah well that makes sense. I am surprised it’s taken this long for an app that works despite phone type.
When my husband takes our son to daycare he texts me with “drop off good.” If I haven’t heard from him, I text him and ask. Vice versa. It seems extra, but it helps us both.
Do you have an iPhone too? There’s always Find My Friends. I use it for my husband and mother (funny how she used to worry about where I was, not I worry about where she is).
Moving to the private sector was such a breath of fresh air. Luckily I know plenty of not nuts people, but Facebook just brings out the dregs that I wouldn’t otherwise notice. These people are ALWAYS angrily posting, sharing, and even worse now gloating. Originally, I deleted it for my sanity, but now I feel like it…
Eh, dunno. They already hate the VA and think it’s worthless. I have one mil-spouse friend who is posting VA horror stories daily to another friend’s wall because he works at the VA and made the mistake of saying something along the lines of it’s important to realize what we’re asking our service members to sacrifice…
I was coming to say this.
Exactly. And they’ll take it gladly. I’ll do everything in my power to make sure they don’t get the next one though.
