I see this all too often with the rescue pit bulls I encounter. Some 8th grade educated, faux macho buffoon buys a pitbull puppy off craigslist, crops the ears, and tries to fight it. 2 weeks later, he’s over it and dumps the dog with badly infected, painful ears. It’s heartbreaking and it’s abuse.
