The only nitpick I have with this review is Handlen's premise about House of Cards.  I thought it was a very entertaining political thriller, and kind of a case and point for the Netflix format.  But yeah, everything about Hemlock Grove itself is spot on.

You can complain about bad acting—-which is what a bad accent amounts to. Just because it a fake accent doesn't mean it has to be a bad fake accent.
