Which it definitely did. All three ST films have had paper-thin framing devices. Why are there maps lying around that lead to everyone’s location? And why won’t Hux just let the TIE fighters take out the Resistance fleet?? The stuff within the framing device is usually interesting, but the frame itself has sucked in

Ehhh, towards the end of the war those rules started getting tossed. Yes, enlisted African Americans were supposed to be restricted to the Steward’s branch, where it was impossible to advance to a petty officer rank, but by late ‘44 and ‘45, the military needed men and talent and were experimenting with integration.

I just remembered that Lillian Luthor was the Azgeda queen on The 100, so that’s two actresses.

Also, Alex isn’t really a baby gay anymore; she needs to stop immediately falling moony-eyed for every lesbian she meets.

Good thing Crisis will probably wipe out all timelines and reset everything.

Hm, could the shared VR dream experience generate more dream energy for her to harness? Was that the point of the VR?

Rath was a surprising power house in the later seasons of “Defiance.”

Gah. Lena is right there, waiting to be redeemed through the power of love. And James is finally off the board. All I’m asking is that we have the two people with actual chemistry together be a couple.

Young Kara was on iZombie. I don’t know that I’ve noticed any others from The 100 either.

I mean...she got hit by a car and was paralyzed for a good chunk of her adolescence. She wasn’t keeping up with international news. She was bedridden and watching “Friends” re-runs. And she never finished high school, so the fact that she missed most of the Iraq War because she was re-learning how to pee on her own

It’s almost as if creative filmmakers *think* that’s what they need to do. But, no, they don’t.

The creative decisions are definitely on Kennedy and Johnson. And the marketing is partially on Kennedy, too. I said Disney in my first comment because I was thinking of Disney’s “The Force is Female” campaign.

Tide changed the container to prevent these kinds of accidental deaths, and since they did, I don’t think there have been anymore. I could be wrong though.

For real. The most disappointing part of TLJ, for me, was that Disney promised all these kick-ass new female characters only to make a film where the women spend 2+hours helping sad bois with their sad boi problems.

She had an entire subplot with Finn and Poe. Finn is a lead character.

Yeah, turning in non-violent offenders to reduce your own sentence is shitty. But murderers and rapists are fair game.

Not quite. Whistle-blowing is motivated by wanting to do the right thing, not trying to save your own skin.
