I blame the Silents.

Pina Colada is also surprisingly tasty.

I like regular flavored Double-Stuf Oreos. But for the weird flavors, I definitely prefer Oreo Thins.

I agree with you about discussion threads. And this show generates enough commentary that I think a discussion thread is warranted.

On the separate issue of comments being different from page traffic, I don’t know the ratio of people who read the review vs. people who read and leave a comment. And I don’t know that

I’m still mad about Patty.

Discussion threads are good. And comments don’t necessarily translate to clicks. I don’t have access to this site’s metadata. I was making an educated guess as to why they would stop reviewing one show vs. the other.

Chris Chibnall made a wise decision when he asked Marlorie Blackman to write this episode. This is right in her wheel-house. She’s a YA novelist from the UK who focuses on the insidious way systemic racism soaks into our lives.

Rosa Parks’ autobiography disputes the “it was planned” narrative. The NAACP was looking for a candidate to kick off the bus boycotts, but Rosa Parks said she didn’t want to be that person. Not giving up her seat was a spur of the moment decision because she was tired of being discriminated against. In other words,

All shows are way more subtle than Supergirl.

I thought Phryne Fisher was the Australian equivalent of Sherlock Holmes.

That is what I was thinking this entire episode. When Janet and Michael set up shop last episode, I thought did this just become “Touched by a Demon”? And then, they flashed forward through all of that. But then, Eleanor gave her speech and I thought again, did this just become “Touched by an Angel”?

Supergirl, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, Riverdale, Black Lightning, Daredevil, Doctor Who, DuckTales, The Good Place, The Romanoffs, and many more.

The A.V. Club has stopped reviewing many shows after the fifth season when those shows are no longer generating clicks. It makes sense that the site wants to keep their writers on shows that are generating buzz. Arrow is the lowest-rated Arrowverse show, so we know fewer people are watching the show. It’s therefore

I’m glad I wasn’t enjoying a nice beverage while also perusing the comments section.

Black Mariah, Shades, and Bushmaster were the villains of LC s2.

It’s true. Baba Yaga is terrifying, and I enjoyed the story a great deal more than Perrault’s version of “Cinderella.”

Oh, I’m much worse than a hipster. I’m an English lit major.

Everyone should be reading the Irish version of the story, where Lasair Gheug joins a group of cat bandits (after going on the run because her stepmother frames her for murder) and helps break the cats’ curse so they turn back into humans. And then she marries the chief former cat who is actually a prince. Then her

That’s still always struck me as weird though. I have just never been moved to kiss a dead thing before.

Yep, I gotta say, when I come across dead bodies in the woods, my first instinct is not to kiss them.
