It is short-sighted. Without such a “halo” car, BMW assumes the attitude of GM in the 70s. That is: “people will keep buying them, because that’s what they did last year”. Even GM sells a semi-super Corvette. If they don’t do another M-1, maybe they could make a 3-series that didn’t cost a fucking fortune to maintain…
This. I’ve never understood the point of a concept car when we sit here 4 years later going, remember that car that never got built. If you’re not going to make it don’t show me it, because it’s a waste of both our time.

“More than you can afford, pal.”
Part of that too is that he was usually hitting behind Karros and Piazza in the lineup, and those two were pretty good at cleaning up full bases before Raul got up to bat.
Even a blind, uncircumcised panda finds a nut once in a while.
I was going to guess that they were both uncircumcised but your answer is better, I guess.
I’ve been thinking long and hard about why modern-day supercars just don’t excite me like they used to, and I think part of the reason is that they’re pretty good at being cars most of the time.
Which puzzles me honestly. It’s a fine convertible built with Chrysler style and Italian reliability.. Wait..... I’ve got that backwards.. Built with Italian style and Chrysler reliability... Hrm. That doesn’t quite sound right either. I’ve got nothing.
That pitch was brilliant and anybody who says Beltran choked is an idiot. 12-6 curve on the outside is a tall order for a hitter.
