I gotta contest the importance of headphones. Solid headphones make a world of difference in multiplayer games. Specifically FPS games. Or really anything where sound can make a difference in enemy positioning. Most people are inexperienced when it comes to headphones though. The headphone market/gaming headphone

More like wondering what choices lead to people wearing merchandise that represents their image when their job is marketing themselves but sure dumbing it down to gamer outrage will get you those brownie points. I literally even asked if its because fashion was the option they went with lol.

For the record I meant successful streamers. I don’t expect someone with 5 subs sporting some expensive gear. However they do stand out. Especially when headphones are one of the prominently things displayed in most thumbnails when any image is capturing a streamer. Isn’t the point of streaming in an essence to sell

Oh I know cost =/= quality as well. My point is that theres even far better cans within 40 bucks of these. If its branding then thats a different story. I’m not going to knock people for having a specific image. Thats why I asked if it was the case here.

If they’re a fashion statement then thats fine. Its not like I don’t understand branding.

People think I’m saying you need to get hd800's or some rediculous ones that go for over $500 or more. There are plenty of far better options sub $150. I’ve seen even very successful streamers/youtubers use really cheap headphones.

Hey an actual informative answer thanks. I was genuinely curious if it was just a fashion statement or not. I mean you don’t have to be an audiophile either and spend $250 bucks on headphones either. Plenty at $150 would do the job. Hell the best pair I’ve ever used for gaming run only $20-40 more depending on if

It always bothers me to see so many streamers using cheap or gaming headphones. is it a fashion statement at this point or do they just not want to invest into real headphones?

I have the ad900xs which are the big brother to your headphones. When I used to wear glasses they were absolutely fine with zero pressure. I also have a big head. They’re super light and almost feel like you’re wearing nothing.

I used to get headaches from headphones too. I have the non gaming variant ad900x which are either the same quality of these or likely better and are 145 right now. Even cheaper when on sale. They’re the best headphones i’ve ever had for fps games thanks to their very open soundstage. They’re so light I don’t even

We need an updated episode where Vegeta goes to driving school with Goku and Piccolo training him.

Welcome to Final Fantasy.

Which is going to make it bloated. Funny enough they showed off like half the areas in the midgar area just in the trailer.

Elitism lol. I literally conceded that people with eye issues can have problems seeing the difference. You want to talk about extreme examples? How about you saying blind people can’t see the difference between radio and tv? Now theres an extreme example. Even then I’d argue you’re incorrect because radio shows and

Thats your argument? That people with eye problems can’t see the difference? Well yeah no duh they’d have issues seeing a difference. I have eye an eye disease myself. I can still see the difference between 4k and 1080p. Thats for someone who is legally blind without contacts. That said when I claimed I’ve talked to

Yes. Theres a difference between nothing being able to see the difference and not caring about the difference. As for the green and red comparison obviously people could have issues with seeing colors. As for your tv and radio comparison clearly theres a difference between sound only media and something with visuals.

That also made me laugh a bit. Also the part about working hard on it for a year and a half. Not knocking the kid but imagine working a year and a half and getting your dream job.

Oh its an absolute luxury to be sure. I game online a lot and need a good connection to download games plus for work so I know I’m in the minority with a higher speed plan. 4k content isn’t the norm at all yet. 8k’s pool of content is a fraction of it. 8k tvs already exist but I’m not rushing out to buy one either. No

Diminishing returns doesn’t negate the fact that there is a difference. Maybe not to you but I certainly notice it. Did I ever say that 8k would be a massive difference either? Absolutely not but it still will be a difference. Resolution, graphics, framerates all have diminishing returns yet people can still notice a

I mean I’ve met people with 50 inch tvs that can’t notice the difference. Considering a few decades ago 32 inch was considered a big screen it’ll be interesting to see what the average screen ends up costing.
