I never locked the doors in my soft top NA miata. I figured better for them to open the door to look for stuff to steal, than to cut the top to look for loose change in the cup holders. I assume being a cheap little car with little value and being a manual helped it not get stolen.

More horsepower, better brakes, better suspension.  Undo all of it with excessive camber so you have no contact patches.    Is it just me????
