I was bummed when I found out the old Daisy wheels have a different bolt pattern than my MK7 GTI. I thought they would make great winter wheels.

I’m curious where you’re located? Here in the MW chances are that 98 Olds, even with low miles, may be be so rusted out of the point of safety. That’s what did 03 Buick in.

I heard a radio commercial this weekend talking about TDI Tiguans starting at something like $8000.

I looked into a 2017-2018 6 MT. I simultaneously researched after market audio because the non-Bose system is bad.

I noticed this when I was car shopping early this year. “Insane” is exactly the word I used to describe it. I’m in Iowa and we can get a lot of snow in the winter so the AWD helps explain some of it, but still.

As a fan of this shit-show of a team, I totally agree.

I’m mostly annoyed with the whole “iT’s A bMw” thing, but this is good.

Look more like submarine trains to me.

Coming from a state where it is still very much illegal, there’s no way I’m handing it out. And yes, in my experience it does not taste like regular candy.

Or hiring more women.

Honestly, a big selling point for the car she bought was having a woman salesperson. After the condescending bullshit she went through she was visibly excited when her salesperson first walked up to her (it probably hurt our negotiations). This was after a test drive where the salesman basically told her how to drive

I think they’re trying to organize a party where we all meet at a bar to watch “Dirty Work” and old Celebrity Jeopardy skits.

Just had this conversation with my co-worker.

I definitely thought this is what the article was going to be about. As one of those less fortunate kids that went to wealthier neighborhoods to trick-or-treat the letter writer can suck it.

Social media will be really fun to watch regarding this.

So this was going to be a good, not great, EV that sold a lot because of slick advertising and the fact a lot of people still equate the most expensive with the best?

I think it would be better if I could hold the button on the wheel to adjust the volume. Maybe it’s different in other cars.

Same, I made a pretty big leap this year from a car with a cassette deck to bluetooth/touch screen capability (coincidentally a Golf model) and almost never use the buttons on the wheel. I still prefer using the volume knob because when a great song comes on it’s a lot more satisfying to crank.. also I forget those

I think just the sheer number on the road really took away from the cool factor. Even in the pickup truck haven that is Iowa I remember seeing these a lot.
