Yes, that is exactly what I want, but you may be right about the price and being able to blow the doors off the competition. That’s one of the things I love about the brand. I would personally be happy with just getting to the same level. They’ll probably announce one in the next couple hours and say it’s not coming…

My fiancee has a 2018 Mazda3 and it’s “zippy” and has pretty good driving dynamics. But if they were to add a little power and stiffen the suspension it could be a true GTI challenger.

I like the idea of a plug in hybrid as well. My issue is I street park at home and would need to run an extension cord to charge. That said, my commute to work is about 2 miles so I wouldn’t need to charge it too often... I should ride my bicycle more

I see a lot of people here complaining about Mazda dealers, but we had a great experience. That may be due to it also being a Volvo and Lincoln dealer.

I got a free upgrade last year and tried to get the Jaguar they had available.. Sadly I ended up with the slightly bigger Nissan
