Well that isn't true. He did take a lot of advice. He just had views as to what he wanted in his film. He made mistakes. No question. Shooting on film. Making such a big deal about the stunt. Fretting about the shooting location. But the biggest mistake Jason (and Pete) made was the script. The script is terrible. And

I made a comment based upon seeing the final edit of the film. What he said was that it's hard to tell from raw footage what the end product will be. Well, the final edit of the film is the end product. Which I saw. So no, you're wrong.

They fucking blew it. The cold opening should have been something featuring all the major Republic candidates including Trump. You're telling me Jay Pharoah can't do a killer Ben Carson? I still can't believe SNL hasn't done a Republican sketch this season. Trump is there! Do the fucking sketch!!!

The fact that it isn't clear is a failure in the writing.

Not necessarily. Totally depends on the dynamic between who is in the room. You really think a pompous film director will be okay with an editor reacting like that? Not a chance (unless) he has a long and established history with the editor.

He is the genius behind Oasis. He always speaks his mind. Fucking love Noel.

Yes he was freaking out. He was verbally and physically letting it be known that he was losing patience. Yes, you can freak out even more, but what he was doing was a freak out. Absolutely.

I thought this was the best (and only) good episode so far of season 2.

Jason strikes me as someone who will read every single online review of this film.

Totally agree. You watch and you are left with one question after another. The story was just really lame.

Keep in mind this is the highly edited script. I can't imagine how awful the original script was.

The end product aired last night mate.

This is a truly terrible film. I felt bad for Jason as I watched it.

Pete never knew it was a discussion to begin with.

Haha.

What stood out this episode was that moment with the editor having a meltdown. That was shocking. Dude looked like he was about to storm off. I honestly could not believe that shit. You are the editor. Yes it can be hard work and annoying. No you don't freak out like that. That shit was weird.

The stunt was terrible.

I honestly don't remember the exact timeline of him going to Matt and Ben but if he did, so what? This is what directors do. They push for things they are passionate about. You need to accept the fact that Jason pushing for film is not him being a brat. He had very clear reasons for wanting it.

When did Jason ever try to play a big name against another person?!?!?!

I still think Effie absolutely had no business exploding on Peter like that. And Peter was helping Effie out by trying to convince Jason to shoot on digital. She made something out of nothing. And why Matt and Ben were okay with this makes no sense given Peter is their friend.
