Will Forte was amazing in both these episodes. The crying scene was so good. His commitment! There were also a lot of funny face reaction shots by him. Especially during the Shawshank convo on the couches.

Yeah I think this is an important fact. Doesn't take away from the entertainment value of the doc however it clearly ignored this fact to add to the punch of the story.

After this last episode, it really struck me that I don't like where any of these characters currently find themselves. I feel like everybody is just floating, and it's getting kinda 'blah' for me.

She knew to end it? It was written beforehand meaning it was going to end when she was done reading the cue cards.

Maron is a mediocre comic and great interviewer. I've never watched this show but this review is essentially what I envisioned it to be.
