Filling the streets with unwanted, uneducated, uninsured people is a fantastic idea to prevent violence.

I have a good salt story.

That second anecdote is....weird. How can a place stay in business with that model

If I am paying to eat your food, I can put whatever the fuck I want on it, and as much as I want. The Chef’s “ownership of my meal” ends when it hits the table.

Peet’s Big Bang is even better (medium roast)

Totally agree. Cops would kill a million citizens to protect “their own”. Fuck the lot of them. Protect and serve my ass.

I have already made up my mind on this topic. I have three kids. None of them will be attending a school where the teachers are armed. I won’t even entertain the notion that arming teachers is a reasonable idea. It’s wrong and deadly.

Have you brought your toddler to an ultrasound yet? Kind of blows their mind that yes, there is a baby in there. I can’t recall the ones we read (it was only a year ago!), but I know we read them over and over and over.

Ahh, that sounds interesting. Is that the actual name of the book?

Finished I’ll Be Gone in the Darkness - Michelle McNamara, moved to BTK: the Inside Story - Wichita Eagle Writers, now on Green River, Running Red - Anne Rule.

MS-13 needs a change in optics.

Not sure if it saved my life, but it saved something certainly.

CMON! Everyone else is. Nothing to be ashamed of, I suspect we’ve all done many stupid teenager things.

You have a great wife! And thanks for sharing and the note at the end.

Amazing. Thanks for sharing. Are you still friends with the fellow in the story?

When that cop fucks his wife (yes, assuming), I wonder if he thinking about guys like Kash. I have a feeling he might be. Or maybe Kash’s dead body. Whatever it may be.....yikes.

Thanks for the tip. STD Testing? Yikes

I wish you the best and hope you can find peace.

I took a very hardline approach with my employer. I knew they needed me and basically said I will see you in 4 to 6 weeks or never - it’s up to you. (I had early twins that required a 4 week NICU stay). They were great about it, but I feel terrible that not everyone can have the same....

After a few years, I suspect you will look back and miss having an infant. It’s like going through boot camp. You hate it at the time, then in hindsight realize it was the best time of your life. Nothing meaningful is easy.
