Having AOC be the face of climate change is like having Trump being the face of conservatism.  It’s not exactly the best way to convince independent thinking people to come aboard.

I wonder that myself.  With ties to the Chinese government, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are doing some real shady things.  I would like to know the facts though.

Does the survey include anyone who was ever arrested, or only people who actually spent a notable amount of time in prison?  I suspect it’s the former so the number is inflated.  

I don’t know about Google, but we know that in general the “pay gap” is BS.  I doubt there is some big conspiracy at Google.  I suspect there are other factors at play.

You don’t NEED a smart phone at all. I would love to have a large screen that still fits comfortably in my pocket. It will probably take a few generations before the technology makes sense.

I’m not sure how I feel about that. I think idiotic views should be exposed, not suppressed.  In this case the idiotic view are dangerous.  Lately people have made that argument about everything they disagree with though.

Every one of those companies is publicly traded. You can easily look up their profit margins. None of them are out of line with other publicly traded companies. The people who complain about the big pharma boogeymen should get together and start a non profit drug company.

I agree! I just posted a similar comment before I saw yours. I had my debit card number stolen once. I went to the bank and they refunded the money instantly while they investigate.

Visa/Mastercard debit cards have the exact same protections as credit cards.  If your bank is not refunding your money instantly, you need a new bank.  My card number was stolen years ago and it wasn’t an issue at all.  

Nicely said.  I’m not a fan of Trump but I lean conservative.  It amazed me how many politicians stoop to his level.  He sucks them in and they forget that the majority of the population are more moderate.

That would make it a complete waste of time.  I don’t mind big goals, but lets propose a realistic road map, otherwise it’s just white noise.  She will never get enough people to pay attention to a nonsensical plan.
