Yeah, that was my point. You have already demonstrated that you are not objective. If I provide a list of 50 lying Democrats, you will make excuses for almost all of them. Here’s another example taken from my life right now. My AC/Furnace is going out. I’m going to need to replace it soon and I expect to spend between 7-10k.

Like for example maybe you don’t technically need a car loan, but if the alternatives are going to cost more than the car (Uber, etc), waste all your time (the bus), or simply make you less money (a closer job), the car loan, even with the debt and interest that entails, is probably your best option.

If I can get a 0-0.9% loan on a car and I have the cash, I would rather invest that cash into a high yield savings account or a fund such as Vanguard.

The replies to your comment depress me. I completely agree. I owe nothing but my mortgage. It makes life so much easier and less stressful. I will never have another car payment. I can’t imagine how much money I pissed away over the years.
