I agree that you shouldn’t pay attention to the daily swings but it’s more complicated than that.  It’s also important to think of where a stock price is going (and why) and not where you bought it or what it used to be.  If you wouldn’t buy more if you could, it’s time to sell.  I do not own any Facebook stock…

Not having millions to blow, this is easy to say but... I would have a hard time spending hundreds of thousands on a car that I would hardly drive. I would go for a Corvette zr1 or a Nissan GTR.  I think they would hold up better to more miles.

I love the idea of Tesla and I hope the company is successful.  They are forcing the other car companies to start innovating or be left behind.  That being said I wouldn’t invest any money in it’s stock and I wouldn’t buy one of their cars until they get their shit together.
